Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” Video Surpasses One Billion Views

Carly Rae Jepsen makes history.

It's incredibly difficult to surpass the one billion views mark on YouTube, but Carly Rae Jepsen is one of the rare few. Her debut single, "Call Me Maybe," achieved the historic feat on Sunday. E! News reports the clip was averaging about 250,000 views per day. As in, at least 200,000 people were watching that video every single day(!!!).

Only a legend!

Speaking of... a newly-blonde Carly Rae performed 2017 standout track "Cut To The Feeling" at the New Yorker Festival in NYC on Friday, only she stripped away the pulsating electro beat for an acoustic guitar instead. It still sounds incredible.
