Carly Rae Jepsen Unveils "Run Away With Me" Cover Art

Carly Rae Jepsen readies her next E·MO·TION single.

If you’re living in Japan, chances are you’re enjoying Jepsen’s new album already. For the rest of the world, we’ll have to wait until Aug. 21 to hear the full thing, including her next single “Run Away With Me” (out July 21). The track previously leaked along with “Your Type” several weeks ago but was instantly pulled from any and all streaming services.

Though it’s presence is absent from the Internet, we assure you it’s one of her best. On “Run Away With Me,” Jepsen sings about letting go of any inhibition and getting lost in love. The ’80s-sounding mid-tempo jam is a careless feel-good tune that allows Jepsen to push further than she could with the attempted radio comeback bop she previously released for “I Really Like You.”

Here’s a live version of it anyhow.
