Carly Rae Jepsen's glorious pop comeback just keeps on giving.
The "I Really Like You" singer was the latest to take on BBC Radio 1's famous Live Lounge, where artists can showcase more acoustic renditions of their material and cover another artist's song.
Jepsen first performed a more minimal version of her new single "Run Away With Me," relying on her voice and the melodies for a brilliant performance.
For the cover, she opted for Years & Years' "King" - one of our favourites of the year - and did a wonderful job, stripping back the synth-pop original and performing with just a guitar and keyboard.
Her new album "E·MO·TION" is an 80-sinspired, synth-pop dream and lies close to Years & Years' own sound - probably why her voice is so suited to the song - but it has me thinking that a collaboration between the two would be perfect.
Make it happen, guys.
