Roses are red, Fifth Harmony is blue. Camila Cabello is going solo. Wrath from Harmonizers to ensue.
I'm proud of that one.
Last month, Cabello tweeted producer Cashmere Cat a cryptic message that included a "rose" emoji. Turns out, that might be the name of a song they crafted together. "Roses," to be specific, and it's rumored to drop this Friday (August 26).
Here's a new preview purported to be "Roses":

It's one more step in distancing herself from Fifth Harmony, which she's remained pretty transparent about in the last year. “Honestly, I think we all do," she told Latina magazine last year when asked if 5H would eventually break up. "We’d be lying if we all said this is a picture- perfect thing, like we all completely agreed on the album track list and what the sound and the music-video treatment would be like, which usually happens in bands who grew up together. But for manufactured bands, it’s harder. The cool part is that we allow one another to do our own thing within this thing. I think it’s healthy because if not, personally, I would go insane.”
Cabello has also teamed up with Diplo / Major Lazer in recent months. In other words, her solo career is very near.
