Camila Cabello is taking her solo career very seriously.
You're well aware by now that the former Fifth Harmony member didn't leave the band on the best of terms, and she might have another issue to settle, this time with Machine Gun Kelly.
Machine Gun Kelly Defends Camila Cabello: "I Don't Like Seeing Someone Get Picked On"
Cabello, who has plans to release her debut studio album as a solo artist this year, registered "Bad Things" on music publishing website ASCAP sans Machine Gun Kelly. The revelation comes a few days after pop punk Charli XCX asked for "a version of bad things with just camila cabello."

Perhaps she wants to include this version on the forthcoming record instead?
"Next year I will be working on my own music and giving you a big chunk of my heart," Cabello told fans in a note explaining her departure from the band. "Now I gotta walk the walk. I have always encouraged you to be fearless, to live your life in the name of love and to do what makes you happy...as scary as it is to take the leap, I am excited and full of joy because I know that no matter what happens, I am following my heart. I hope to see you on my journey."
