Chris Brown was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon which prompted prayers from Bruno Mars.
Disappointing, but UpTown Funk gon' give it to ya.
A woman named Baylee Curran told authorities Brown had threatened her with a gun, which lead to police swarming Brown's home in Tarzana, CA on Tuesday (August 30). After a lengthy standoff between him and police, Brown threw out a duffle bag which contained two guns and drugs and ultimately was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. He was released Tuesday night on a $250,000 bail.
The LA Times has a detailed piece on the ordeal if you care.
Only a handful of people feel sorry for the singer, and one of them appears to be Bruno Mars, who shared support for Brown on Twitter, saying: "Prayin for ya @chrisbrown we need ya."

Praying for a man who threatened a woman with a gun? Come on, Bruno. Don't get it twisted.
Playing devil's advocate, Curran has had a history with theft, and the night she was at Brown's home a man was showcasing diamonds. It's not clear whether she tried stealing anything and Brown was protecting the product, but nothing warrants violence.
