Bonnie McKee gyrates in a dark alley in her new music video for the "I Want It All."
And we wouldn't have it any other way.
The song injects a raging electric guitar with a subtle pulsating beat. The dreamy tune helps McKee in a dance-off between her all-gal posse and a group of Michael Jackson "Bad" inspired good for nothin' dudes. As PopCrush points out, it bears a striking resemblance to Samantha Fox's 1986 visual for “I Wanna Have Some Fun.” McKee also rocked a similar style for the "Bombastic" video off her 2015 EP.
“It’s actually a song to my fans and how I would have done anything to get to them,” Bonnie told Idolator of the song last year. “The first lyric is, ‘I would make a deal with the devil, turn my heart into metal, just to get to you,’ and then ‘I would cut like a razor, sign in blood on the paper.’ It’s basically about selling my soul for rock and roll. It sounds like a love song, but it’s really about my co-dependent relationship with fans.”
