Lady Gaga will give the best of both worlds on her forthcoming album.
While we wait a few more hours for Gaga's new single "Perfect Illusion" to hit the net, one of her LG5 go-to producers, Bloodpop, who helped craft the new song, says fans can expect the record to combine her love of several genres.
He told Rolling Stone the sound is "soul-rooted, [but] pop at heart."
As for "Perfect Illusion," the producer says it's "a big rock song that makes you want to dance," adding he Gaga, Mark Ronson and Tame Impala's Kevin Parker wrote the song in Malibu: "They started at noon and wrote into the night. Every few days, a lyric would change and it would get better and better."
Speaking of LG5, iHeart is throwing out a potential release date: February 2017.
