■ Strike two. Zayn Malik dropped out of yet another interview today, this time with Radio One. He was meant to appear alongside the cast of the new Dad's Army film, as well as actors Will Smith and Ryan Reynolds. Last week, he was scheduled to appear in the Graham Norton show to talk about his upcoming album Mind Of Mine and his new single "Pillow Talk," however canceled last minute due to scheduling conflicts recording his album. His reps are using the same excuse today for the second offense, saying:
"Unfortunately there was a scheduling conflict as Zayn is currently in the studio completing his album."
A source added: "It's bad luck but he's still in the studio working on his album."
Fans are speculating the solo success is becoming too much for the introverted Mr. Zayn to handle. [Daily Record]

■ Speaking of... Swiss Beatz says Kanye West's new album Waves is meant to be listened to away from the noise (with a pair of headphones). He tells Billboard:
“It’s one of the best albums I heard him produce in a while. It’s a sound that I think is very enjoyable. The sonics and the things that people are gonna hear — I think they should connect to it, like close their eyes [away] from all of the B.S. and think about the music when you listen to the album ’cause it’s a lotta noise outta there. When you’re that popular, there’s gonna be a lot of noise but sometimes, we gotta put the headphones out, get away from that noise and really listen to the craft and I think that he has a great piece of work on his hands.”
