BH Buzz: Gwen Stefani Calls Eminem A "Real Weirdo"

A lot happened today in music.

BreatheHeavy is kicking off our second “BH Buzz” with several stories we want you to know about, but felt a full-length post about Ariana Grande facing charges from licking donuts and Britney Spears’ grocery list up for auction on eBay was more important. So, we put together a list of tidbits from the world in music 7/14/2015.

■ Doctors gave Meghan Trainor the OK to return to performing after a hemorrhage on her vocal cord forced the “All About That Bass” singer to cancel a string of shows.

■ During an interview with ET, Gwen Stefani recounted how her collaboration with Eminem on “Kings Never Die” from the Southpaw movie soundtrack came about.

“I’ve been asking for so long to do something with him. I think he’s so incredible, a real artist, he’s a real weirdo, we all know that.”

Ciara snaps back at ex Future who openly blabbed about their former sex life during a recent radio interview as well as assuring us he’s a great dad (“I take care of all my kids to the fullest. I take care of my kids’ moms.”). Cici is not having it.

■ Nobody cared that an incognito Brandy sang on a NYC subway, so she called them rude then explained to the NYPost why she did it. “I’d been riding the subway after I worked out with my trainer — I loved getting the whole New York culture, I loved the normalcy of it. So I took my camera guy, who’s also a friend of mine, and said, ‘Let’s just do something adventurous! Something fun! Let me sing on the train and see what happens!’ And that’s the reaction I got — no reaction!”

■ Sinead O’Connor calls Kim Kardashian the “C” word for being on the cover of Rolling Stone.

What is this cunt doing on the cover of Rolling Stone ? Music has officially died. Who knew it would be Rolling Stone that murdered it? Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh can no longer be expected to take all the blame. Bob Dylan must be fucking horrified.

Pitbull somehow infiltrated another song, this time Chris Porter’s “The Water Dance.”

■ And finally, Susan Sarandon wants to light one up with the A$AP Rocky posse after hearing about their verse where Action Bronson raps, “You see us scramblin’, sellin’ Susan Sarandon/ The cloud of smoke like the Phantom.”

Talk about it.
