That awkward moment when one of the biggest musicians in the world calls you out.

During a freestyle section at Drake's Summer Sixteen show at Madison Square Garden on Thursday (August 4), Drake blasted New York City radio station Hot 97, saying “fuck Hot 97.” He also called out one of the station's hosts, Funkmaster Flex, saying “fire Funk Flex and then I'll do your show.”

We'll let Pitchfork explain the backstory:

During Drake's feud with Meek Mill last year, Funk Flex played the reference track for Drake's song “10 Bands” on air. Later on, he made it further clear that he was not a fan of the Canadian rapper. More recently, Hot 97 host Ebro Darden recounted a conversation in which Eminem allegedly planned on entering Drake’s long-documented beef with Joe Budden. Ebro also said that Drake hinted that he would be prepared with a comeback if Eminem ever dissed him. Later on, Ebro claimed that the conversation in question was a joke. Both Funk Flex and Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg responded to Drake's diss on Twitter, as did Ebro.

Drake also mentioned his studio time with Kanye West. Earlier this week, Yeezy revealed he and Drake are working on a joint album together.
