UPDATE: Bebe Rexha's tropical-tinged new song "I Got You" is an embracing synth pop love song.
"I can see you hurting' / I've been through the same thing / Baby don't worry / I got you," she sings with anthemic ooh na na na's scattered in. "I just wanna know you / Tell me all your secrets / Lookin' like you need it."
It's left field from her stint on G-Eazy's "Me, Myself & I," but it works. In the Captain Cuts-produced track, Rexha coos about being there through the good times and the bad. "We can get high / We can get low / Let me be your friend, baby let me in," she pleads.

Bebe Rexha's "I Got You" is nothing like Sonny & Cher's, babe.
Rexha's forthcoming album A.Y.F. is expected to premiere on Jan. 17, 2016, and in between then the pop star has a lot on her plate. She's just coming down from the high with her G-Eazy assisted collaboration "F**k Fake Friends" and her feature on Martin Garrix recent single “In The Name Of Love,” but now she's ready to fly solo.
Oddly enough, Warner Music's Indonesia affiliate premiered a 15-second clip of Rexha's new song today (Oct. 26). In it, Rexha is playfully singing the title over a pulsating synth beat.
Rexha is hosting the MTV EMA's which take place Nov. 5, just in time for the arrival of her new single "I Got You," which is expected to premiere on Friday (Oct. 28).
