Azealia Banks's latest apology tour starts now.
Banks made the rounds on the blogosphere this week after lashing out at Russell Crowe and his guests at the actor's hotel party last weekend. Here's a very detailed recount of that, including RZA's open letter about the embarrassing incident, and while Banks should be offering her sorries for that, she's beginning with Zayn Malik.
Back in May, Banks made a couple of side-by-side comparisons to Zayn's Mind of Mine visual "Like I Would" with her "Chasing Time" video. "Damn Zayn be mood boarding the fuck of out me ?.. I'm not mad about this though," she said. "Zayn is a cutie pie."
Zayn responded: “No lies … I see you reaching but I don’t care.”
This set Banks off, who went on an explicit racial tirade against Zayn, which ultimately lead to her ban from Twitter. "you a dick rider for real for real. Ride this dick until the wheels fall off Punjab," she said. "lol u a bitch nigga for even responding like that. Keep sucking this yung rapunxel dick u hairy curry scented bitch"
Terrible. Awful. But forgivable? Banks hopes so. She typed out an apology letter to Zayn and posted it on Facebook.
“There are no words that can fully express how sorry I am,” she writes. “Recent events have taught me the important of taking accountability for ones actions. I want and need to say I am sorry, I was wrong."
