Ashley Tisdale And Lea Michele Cover Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own,” And It’s Everything

Ashley Tisdale and Lea Michele transform Robyn's "Dancing On My Own" into a tender acoustic ballad.

I'm not going to apologize for marking my calendar every month waiting for a new performance from Ashely Tisdale as part of her Music Sessions on YouTube.

This year she's cranked out some big ones, including a cover of Elle King's "Ex's & Oh's" with bestie Vanessa Hudgens, Britney Spears' "Toxic", Julia Michaels' debut single "Issues", The Chainsmokers and Daya's Grammy Award winning song, "Don't Let Me Down", a duet of “What I’ve Been Looking For” with her High School Musical co-star Lucas Grabeel and teamed up with Debby Ryan to sing Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name.”

Her latest is a cover of Swedish pop star Robyn's "Dancing On My Own" alongside Lea Michele. The ladies gab about their summer shenanigans before jumping into the sugary acoustic rendition; it's absolutely stunning. They ripped out Robyn's pulsating electro beat & twinkly production and caressed it with a gorgeous soft tone and extended breathy notes instead. Per usual, Tisdale's hubby Christopher French assists with a guitar.
