UPDATE // JANUARY 10, 2017:

Ariana Grande confirmed in a (now deleted) Tweet her fourth studio album is complete!

A fan Tweeted Ari that they thought her recent studio sessions were for the Dangerous Woman followup, but realized it was for her Beauty And The Beast duet with John Legend.

Grande responded, saying: "no that's already done."

Understandably, chaos ensued.

EARLIER // NOVEMBER 14, 2016:

Ariana Grande's fourth studio album is nearly complete.

The pint-sized pop star released her most-recent album Dangerous Woman only six months ago, but she's rocking the Rihanna route and already recording new material for the next LP.

Grande, who's set to perform her Nicki Minaj-assisted track "Side To Side" at the AMAs this Sunday, took to SnapChat to reveal the news (via the doe filter, of course).

“I’m almost done with an album,” Ariana casually revealed. “I didn’t mean to make an album, and I don’t know if it’s done at all, but I just have a bunch of songs that I really like. I’ve just been working and creating and inspired.”

This sent her fans into a confused state of shock. A frenzy, really, so the pop star reemerged to explain: “I didn’t mean to make you too excited. I didn’t mean to make you shit your pants.” She also took the opportunity to remind us of her upcoming schedule, which includes a music video with Stevie Wonder for their song "Faith" and her role as Penny in the live adaptation of Hairspray and kicks off the Dangerous Woman Tour tour in February of next year. Perhaps she'll scatter in some newer songs with the... other new ones.

See the videos below:

She's also recently teased a bit of said new tunes:
