Ariana Grande was a dangerous woman in the city of sin Thursday night.
Nicki Minaj helped celebrate the grand opening of the shiny and new T-Mobile Arena located in the heart of the Las Vegas strip by performing a 90-minute concert. Her setlist included the biggies, like "Anaconda," "Only" and "Starships," as well as a duet with special guest Ariana Grande. The two performed their recent hit "Get On Your Knees" and the 2014 smash "Bang Bang."
Minaj, who was an hour and a half late starting the show, disappeared for a while to let Grande soak up the spotlight on her own. The pint-sized diva sang a few songs off her upcoming album Dangerous Woman, out May 20, including the lead title track, "Be Alright" and for the first time ever, her song "Leave Me Lonely" featuring Macy Gray (whose vocals played over the multi-million dollar sound system).
The song was a golden opportunity for Grande, who mentioned adding it was a last-minute idea, to show off her one-of-a-kind vocals – or as Nicki Minaj put it... her "iconic" voice. Fans assumed Nicki and Ari would perform their new song featured on Dangerous Woman, but we'll take this instead.
