Ariana Grande felt her first apology missed the mark, so here she is.
Earlier this week, Grande posted an apology on Twitter explaining why she said she hated America (because of child obesity) during a trip to a donut shop, but several days later felt that didn't suffice; she completely avoided detailing why she thought licking and spitting on other peoples' donuts was permissible. Now, in a new video message she shared online, the "Problem" singer is explaining the rude awakening she's experienced since the surveillance footage went viral.
“I’m not here to make any excuses or justify my behavior, because I can’t. I’m just here to apologize,” she said. She also broached the America topic again.
She continues, “I’ve actually never been prouder to be an American, to be honest. The advances that we’ve made in the past couple of months and all the wonderful progressive things that have been going on, I’ve never been prouder of this country, actually.”
Grande is owning up to what she did and apologizing, and for that we forgive her. Do YOU?
