Justin Bieber reportedly wants to record a song with Cheryl Cole, and we're here for it.
Anything Justin Bieber touches turns to gold. Just look at his latest Major Lazer collaboration "Cold Water." It premiered and a week later it debuted at No. 2 on the Hot 100. Can Bieber do the same for Cole?
The two hit it off when they met backstage at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Bangor North Wales in 2010. Bieber has apparently always wanted to work with the pop star since, but their hectic schedules never allowed it. Now that Bieber cancelled all meet & greets at his Purpose shows, he's got a little extra free time to make this work.
The Daily Star apparently has a quote from Bieber stating so.
“With our commitments we have never managed to make it work. Though I saw her a couple of weeks back, and now she has left her role on The X Factor, I think this year will finally be the year we are able to record together," he said.
“It’s something we both want to do.”
Cole is currently in the recording studio working on a followup to 2014's Only Human. Maybe Bieber will give the record new purpose.
