After The ‘Joanne’ Era Wraps, Lady Gaga Is Taking A Rest

Lady Gaga plans on taking a well-deserved break.

Back-to-back Gaga posts because this tidbit deserved some special attention.

Mother Monster has been tirelessly promoting Joanne for a year now. There's no time to list all of the many career highlights, like headlining the Super Bowl Halftime Show, Coachella, a world tour, a new documentary etc. etc., and the singer is looking forward to winding down and letting the experiences soak in.

What does that mean? Lady Gaga has her sights set on slowing down once the Joanne era takes a bow.

“I’m gonna take a rest,” Gaga said of her future plans at a press conference today to promote her forthcoming documentary, Lady Gaga: Five Foot Two, beaming to Netflix Sep. 22.

“I don’t know how long,” she admits. Don't freak out. “That doesn’t mean I won’t be creating,” Gaga continued. “It doesn’t mean I don’t have some things up my sleeve that I’m not going to tell you today, but I’m looking forward to reflecting and slowing down for a moment and healing, because that’s important.”

It's a bit of a bummer, but entirely understandable. No one has quite a year like Lady Gaga has. Watch the press conference below and read more details about it here.
