We saw this one coming.

Three days before 25‘s release in November, Adele shared a video performance of her singing “When We Were Young,” and now we know why – it’s the second official release from the record, a rep from her label Columbia confirms to Billboard.

The song has sold 150,000 downloads to-date, according to Nielsen Music, making it the second-best-selling song from 25 after “Hello.”

“Water Under the Bridge,” my personal favorite track from the record, is the third-best selling song from the album at 104,000 downloads (and probably the third official release).

Billboard reports “When We Were Young” debuted at No. 22 on the Hot 100 two weeks ago, starting with 3.7 million U.S. streams and 101,000 downloads sold that week. Now that it’s receiving proper solo attention, it’s expected to peak at No. 1 shortly.

“It was based on us being older, and being at a party at this house, and seeing everyone that you’ve ever fallen out with, everyone that you’ve ever loved, everyone that you’ve never loved, and stuff like that, where you can’t find the time to be in each other lives,” Adele said to SiriusXM last month of the song. “And you’re all thrown together at this party when you’re like 50, and it doesn’t matter and you have so much fun and you feel like you’re 15 again. So that’s the kind of vibe of it really.”

Adele previously performed the song on Saturday Night Live as well.
