Adele is on track to break yet another album sales record.
Industry insiders predict Adele’s 25 album will move another million units this week, giving the “When We Were Young” songstress a historic third million-selling week since the album dropped on Nov. 20 (she sold 3.38 million opening week followed by another 1.11 million the week after).
It goes without saying Adele lands at No. 1 for a fourth consecutive week.
Since its debut, 25 has sold 5.98 million units, making it the biggest-selling album released in the U.S. since Adele’s last album, 21, reports Billboard.
85% of those sales are physical album sales and is expected to top 7.5m by the year’s end, claims HDD.
