Rumor has it Adele will perform at the 2016 Grammys on Feb. 14, but one thing we know for sure is she'll take the stage at the Brit Awards the following week.
"You couldn’t get a bigger name in music right now. Adele is having an exceptional moment and The BRITs are delighted to be a part of her history, her present and future," the show's chairman Max Lousada told the Guardian.
The last time Adele stepped foot on-stage at the Brit Awards was 2011 when she performed "Someone Like You." The following year, she created a bit of controversy after flipping the bird when her acceptance speech for winning Best British Album was cut short. She said at the time, "That was for the suits at the Brit Awards, not my fans. I'm sorry if I offended anyone but the suits offended me."
The "Hello" singer has won three Brit awards over her career, and we imagine she'll add a few more to her collection come February.
The Brit Awards will be hosted by Ant and Dec and will be broadcast live on ITV. Nominations for the Brits are announced on 14 January, and more performers will be announced in the coming weeks.
