Adele might be able to call herself a recipient of a Daytime Emmy award.
The 25 singer will storm award season next year when her record-breaking album gets nominated at all the biggies, specifically the GRAMMYs, but Adele will get the rare opportunity to earn an Emmy before she rakes in her album accolades in 2017. She is up for Outstanding Musical Performance in a Talk Show/Morning Program.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the Daytime Emmy nominations Thursday afternoon, and though it will honor the best programs on daytime television, it will not be broadcasted.
“After months of negotiations to find show sponsorship, the NATAS Executive Board has decided that the current climate for awards shows prohibits the possibility of a telecast this year," said NATAS president Bob Mauro. "With that said, we will be putting on a world-class awards celebration honoring the best and brightest of daytime television and look forward to an exciting show. All efforts regarding returning the annual gala to television in 2017 are underway.”
