Paris Hilton signed with Cash Money Records and will release music alongside labelmates Nicki Minaj, Drake and Lil Wayne, reports MTV News.

“This is a lot different than my first album. It’s really going to be house music.”

However, Paris’ rep said it’s not a done deal. “Paris Hilton is in talks with a number of record labels right now but we can’t confirm anything. When a deal is finalized we will make an official announcement.”

Birdman of Young Money Cash Money Billionaires tweeted Wednesday, “Welcome @ParisHilton to tha Family. RichgangRichgirl. YMCMB.”

Celine Dion has more words for Britney’s Las Vegas residency than just one.

She told E! News’ Marc Malkin:

“She knows exactly what she needs to do. She is a hard worker. She’s very talented and you know what, there’s a place for everybody. You just have to make sure you take your seat. You have to make sure you get ready, you prepare yourself, you focus and everybody can do it. She can do it.

Celine is no stranger to the hard work showbiz demands as a mom, but she’s managed to find a balance between her personal and professional life.

“I’m a mom,” she continued. “I do my show and I enjoy the moment and I run to my kids. That’s my success.”

The X Factor auditions began today, and it looks like they’re already missing Britney.

Simon said:

UPDATE: A reader sent in their experience – he was the contestant that Simon commented on about Britney.

“Hey Jordan huge fan of Brit and your website. I submitted an online audition in March for the XFactor and heard back in early May that I was chosen to audition infront of the judges on the 21st. I sang Britney’s “…Baby One More Time” which I did kinda badly since I was very exhausted after sitting in the arena for 14 hours. Mainly because Simon was late and delayed auditions.

After my audition Simon commented “for a second I closed my eyes and thought Britney was on stage, but when I opened them back up it wasn’t and it was creepy because you weren’t wearing the schoolgirl outfit.” I was really embarrassed haha.

Paulina was rude. She said “not everyone can sing Britney, especially with a microphone,” which I took at her throwing shade at Britney for lip-syncing.

Demi gave me a thumbs up when I said I wanted a career like britneys and Kelly said she loved my shoes and demi agreed. I got four NO’s. I didn’t receive any negative feedback besides demi saying she doesn’t understand how I will fit in the industry sounding like Brit.”

We know Britney’s busy in the dance studio rehearsing for her Las Vegas residency, but what songs is she dancing to? Of course she’ll rock the classics like “Baby One More Time,” “Slave 4 U,” and “Till The World Ends,” but what about songs that were never singles?
